Scott Firebaugh grew up in a musical family. His
grandfather played the harpsichord, his mother
played piano and his father still plays guitar in a
band today.
At the age of twelve Scott began playing the
trumpet. In high school he was a member of the
Marching Band, Jazz Band and the Symphonic
Band. He participated in many solo competitions
on the district and state levels. He was also a
member of his church orchestra.
Another person that influenced Scott's music
career was a church choir director. "He encouraged
me to join the choir and to take the lead vocal roles
in major musical productions." That experience lead
Scott to taking on the role of the worship leader. "I
planned the worship services and directed a praise
band of professional musicians," Scott said.
Scott loves to sing and play all styles of music. He
joined Crossover in 2004 as a vocalist and
percussionist.
Scott is married to his high school sweetheart,
Judy. They have two daughters, Andrea and Ashley,
and 1 four-legged child, a Shih Tzu named Biskit.
